the ask for Physical was to come up a refreshed identity that suited their upcoming final season. Pulling from ideas and aesthetics present in their footage, as well as the building on the ideas that have been set forth in previous seasons, I approached it from the lens of the era of jazzercise. A few looks were proposed in a variety of aesthetics, varying in both 2D and 3D treatments with the commonality being neon. The final execution ended up being a 2.5 animation in After Effects, using a combination of custom effects and composited footage
